This year we will venture to Brussels for our annual International Dinner. Both the President, Alistair McKinlay (OS, 1990) and former Head of History Neal Rigby, are looking forward to meeting you all in Brussels.
Brussels grew from a small rural settlement on the river Senne to become an important city-region in Europe. Being the de facto capital of the European Union, it is home to numerous international organisations, politicians, diplomats and civil servants. French is the main language spoken in Brussels.
Brussels is not only know for its international politics but also for its cuisine, gastronomy and historical and architectural landmarks, including the Grand Place, Manneken Pis, Atomium and it cultural institutions such as La Monnaie and the Museumes of Art and History.
With easy and economical travel by air from all major airports and by train, we hope lots of Old Savs will come and celebrate with us in Brussels.
